Close to 4 stars but not quite there. Decent food with decent prices. If they could step up the game on the food it might attract more than the 60+ crowd.

Their breakfast food is absolutely spectacular. They have quite a big selection and it is priced very conservatively. The service is super fast and very friendly! One of my favorite places to go in this area. You can't go wrong with Sweet Henrie's!!

Pros: I enjoy the nutella banana crepes at this place. The breakfast potatoes are good (soft usually). Their soups are typically of good quality and the ice cream is good.Cons: The water has poor/ unpleasant taste. The corn beef hash was very small for the price and was not worth getting again. I think the quality of food overall is average. I can only share based on my experience; therefore, your experience may differ. The seating is fairly decent and the service is okay. I have never had a horrible experience here but I can't say that I have had any meals here that stood out to me. I don't foresee their quality of food improving anytime soon or the layout of the restaurant being improved.

Best place for ice cream treats! Made the old fashioned way. Banana splits are huge, and they don't skimp. Rootbeer floats overflow with rootbeer...omg! I can't stop talking about this place...fun atmosphere too!

Reall good food,breakfast and lunch were great.Have yet to try dinner.Tons of dessert options.Nice relaxed feeling inside and service was very good.A small local treasure,been there since 1974.

Hard to tell what this place is from the road. Food was amazing..homemade applesauce was bomb but I was given an option of coleslaw or applesauce with my meal as though it came with the meal, when it was actually an extra that costed $2.50..when I really didn't want either..I just picked one of the options I was given bc I thought it came with the meal. Other than that..it's a really cozy place..great service. Only downside is that they only take cash or personal checks..which I didn't see posted anywhere or know prior to receiving our bill after the meal. There is an ATM inside though..so I guess it all works out?

Great food, good prices and friendly employees!

It was close to home. Food pretty good but pricey. My big complaint was when they brought the bill. No credit cards and no signs around saying it. Luckily I was with nice people and somebody paid my bill. I have heard a lot of places are not accepting credit cards but at least they have a sign.

A favorite and sentimental stop whenever we visit Akron/Barberton/Norton area

This place is a local favorite. The waitresses are usually very friendly although sometimes the wait can be long if they’re busy...understandably so. Food is good.. makes you feel at home. Their ice cream is really good, too! My only complaint is that the ice cream can get kind of pricey but other than that, everything is nice here!

The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the decor makes you feel like it's 1970, which is a good thing here. Food is priced as expected and the quality of it is good as well. Unfortunately, only cash and check are accepted here. They do have an ATM right at the front of the restaurant for those who don't plan ahead, however.

Very good cajun burger and my wife had the club sandwhich. Also very good. Will stop again next time im in the area

Amanda did a great job serving. My omelette was very average. Toast was good and fruit cup too. Don't like the cash only payment.

The restaurant has great sweet tea. I also loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. I ordered a salad. More than half of the salad was large mostly white chunks of lettuce. The chicken on the salad tasted freezer burnt. For what I paid for it it seemed kind of pricey. I was going to talk to the waitress about it but she seemed to much in a hurry to talk after I placed my order. I had to go and could not wait any longer. I may try this restaurant again but I doubt it.

Love it the atmosphere is cozy everybody that works there is so friendly. Lots of old timers getting together as well as high school kids. Its a great place to eat drink and talk about the great times of past and of the here and now.

We went for the all you can eat fish fry and it was delicious! Fish, soup, salad and potato for only $8.99. The service is awesome, too. I would highly recommend eating there. Keep in mind that it is cash only.

The ice cream is very good. Nice family place to eat together. The server we had was top-notch. I wish more could be as experienced as she is.

Love! Dress casually. Delicious made to order food. I ALWAYS have the vegetable omelet with Swiss cheese. (breakfast can be ordered all day.) And generous portions. A great place to meet friends and catch up.

Without a doubt this is a family restaurant. Our waitress has been working there for 24 years, and is the friendliest person I've met. The atmosphere and food are great, and so are the prices.

This cute quaint restaurant has been around for a long time and still has the great food wonderful service and down home feel.

I have used this as a place for personal and business meetings over the past 29 years. It is a wonderful family run business. Good food, lower prices. Comfortable seating. Good service. I have never had a bad meal nor poor service here. I don't hesitate to schedule my meetings here. I recommend them highly.

In today’s market cash only is insane. Saw the sign and walked right back out. It’s a principal you’re either padding the books or don’t want some customers, because that’s the only thing that happens

Cash or check only. I met somebody there, at there suggestion. It was a good omelet, prices seemed competitive on the menu, but the other person took the bill before I could. Clean, very friendly, and kept the coffee cup full until we said no thank you. A little darker than I would like, but not near as dark as many places I have been.

She only came to our table a couple times, didn't even bother to ask us if we wanted some dessert. We had to ask for refills. She got her tip and never came back to the table.

I got the chicken sandwich with swiss cheese, bacon, and barbecue sauce with fries; it was absolutely amazing and delicious. Homeade style fries, fresh steamy breaded chicken, delicious savory BBQ sauce, delicious swiss cheese, CRISPY bacon. Not to mention the atmosphere of this place, so cozy, reminds me of the cafe's from my hometown in Oregon, warm cozy and lots of people happy and chatting and enjoying the food, I will be coming back for years, this has to be one of the best restaurant's I've been to in Ohio. Totally recommend for anyone, huge menu with stuff like breakfast served all day at any time, delicious looking desserts. Just the smell of the food in the place getss me hungry. Amazing variety, servings, and drinks too. Even the coffee tastes like it was fresh brewed at home. Comforting amazing food!
